ISAVULET

Isavuconazole is a novel medication used as primary and secondary prophylaxis in cancer therapy. It is also used in the treatment of invasive aspergillosis and invasive mucormycosis, two serious and potentially life-threatening fungal infections. It is an antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes.
